• Their financial, credit, mortgage servicing, and operational skills were gained incubating ten specialist lenders of residential first and second mortgages, commercial, buy-to-let, automobile loans, and leases, purchasing and working out 17 loan portfolios, and carrying out over 100 loan pool securitisations (i.e., to finance ongoing lending) and loan portfolio sales (i.e., to finance ongoing lending or exit permanently).
• BV's management team has over 200 years of combined transaction and management experience in lending, and portfolio purchasing and workout, with track records of successfully generating profits for investors in each.

BV's management team includes each following Board member:

• Chairman Francis Hazeel was educated at Oxford University and has over 40 years of experience in U.K. and international finance, including property lending, client relations, and marketing, to a wide range of land use and business types.
  • Francis set up the London office of Aareal Bank AG and built a £3.5 billion portfolio of U.K. and international commercial property loans.

• Managing Partner Keith Howard, who founded BV, was educated at Dartmouth College and NYU Stern School of Business. Keith has over 25 years of experience in principal investing, structured finance, mortgage banking, operations, and software development, primarily in the U.K. and USA, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant (USA).
  • Keith was an original member of Nomura's Principal Finance Group, where he led portfolio acquisitions of over $12 billion in size.
  • Keith founded and led Nikko's Principal Finance Group.
  • Keith has been involved in launching four lenders.
  • Keith led the team at BV, which incubated, and grew to 36 employees, 5D Finance Limited, a long-term, non-conforming commercial mortgage lender. BV sold the company in 2006.

• Chief Operations Officer Paul Morris has over 30 years of experience in U.K. banking, real estate, finance, and third-party mortgage servicing.
  • Paul co-founded and ran four U.K. mortgage servicing companies.
  • Paul also helped to establish a successful lending vehicle as a joint venture with one of the U.K.’s pre-eminent mortgage broking firms, aimed at the buy-to-let mortgage market.
